Pocket Change Empty Pocket Change

Here is a short poem that I wrote for my Creative Writing class. I'm interested to hear everyone's thoughts and suggestions!


Pocket Change
 
What would happen
if the first thing you thought of in the morning
was a question
of how the world got to be so messy
that any person questions
whether morals are really morals
or good people are really good
or whether love is a real thing
or whether there is any point at living life at all?

Would you stay the same?
